Pacific Dental, Inc. was established in 1986 to service the dental profession with the highest quality fixed restorations. The key to our success has been our attention to detail, proper communication with our clients, using the highest quality materials, and strict adherence to proper laboratory techniques. The owner and head ceramist has trained with Lee Culp, Willie Geller, and Gerland Ubassy, and has extensive continuing education and training. At Pacific Dental, Inc. our goal is to provide high quality crown and bridge work and outstanding customer service at a reasonable price.

Our company vision is to provide the highest possible quality restoration with accurate margins, shade, contour and shape, contact, and occlusion, using the latest proven materials available in addition to providing outstanding customer service. We believe that communication is the key to a successful dentist/lab relationship. Our business has been built upon word of mouth and referrals from satisfied clients.

Facility Features

Pacific Dental, Inc. is a 2200 square foot facility located in Thousand Oaks CA. There are currently five highly trained ceramists each specializing in different restorations. We have two anterior specialists, two posterior specialists, and one resin restoration specialists. We have a case coordinator and a customer service representative to insure that your cases are processed and delivered according to your instructions. Our facility and staffing is set-up with growth in mind.

Our facility utilizes the following systems:

• Meiji EMT Microscopes and magnification.

• Procera Forte scanner featuring 3D CAD/CAM software.

• IPS Empress EP 500 pressable porcelain system.

• BelleGlass HP/Vectris fiber reinforced composite resin system.

• Articulators from SAM-3, Denar; Accu-Liner, Panadent, and Artex.

• VITAPAN 3D Master, Chromascop, SR Vivodent, and Vita-Lumin shade guides.

• On-site dental chair for custom shades using digital photography and the X-Rite Shade Vision intra-oral scanner and shade mapping software.

Training and Background

The owner of Pacific Dental, Inc. is Hamid Babaeian. He is a C.D.T. and has studied at CSULA and UCLA with a major in Pre-dental and two years at LACC Dental Technology where he earned a Certificate of Completion. Upon completion of the dental technology curriculum, Mr. Babaeian successfully passed the Recognized Graduate Certificate Dental Technician Exam. In 1992, he completed the Certified Dental Technician Practical and Specialty Exam in Fixed Prosthetics. Mr. Babaeian has continued his education with courses in ceramics with master ceramists Willie Geller and Lee Culp; Laminate Veneers with Ceramco and Vita; Porcelain Substructure with Vita Inceram; IPS Empress Masters Course with Gerald Ubassy; Cast Porcelain Structure with Empress by Ivoclar; and composite resin restorations with Concept by Ivoclar and BellGlass by Kerr. As a member of the Richard Tucker Study Club, he studied controlled expansion, marginal integrity and adaptation.
